Time at current organization: Since 1989.

Proudest career accomplishment: William’s proudest career accomplishment was in 1995 when his team won the city championship for boys’ varsity basketball. That was the year the successful NBA star Kevin Garnett played on the Farragut Admirals

Greatest influence: Wolf’s greatest influence is a senior math teacher name Mr. Raper. Wolf Nelson loves math that’s why Mr. Raper was his greatest influence.

Tips for High-School students to be successful in basketball: Mr. Nelson says to stay in school. Also, he says to never give up kids.

Job

How do you know you are successful in this career: Wolf says that by watching former players and students being successful is how he knows his career is successful. Wolf Nelson is a basketball coach and teacher to help students become successful.

What is your next big thing: Mr. Nelson says his next big thing is retiring. He’s been coaching to long and wants to retire. He’s coaching more than ten years.

Decision do over: If William could redo a decision it would be getting married. “Marriage isn’t easy to deal with”, William says.

Gregory "The Great" Parker

Gregory “The Great” Parker is a 22 year old athlete who is currently attending Louisiana State University and getting his bachelors degree in Environmental Science. He has been playing basketball since the age of 4, playing basketball with older cousins. In high-school he joined the Farragut Admirals all four of his years going there, leading his team in rebounds and had a descent amount of points, steals, and assists. He was very committed to his team and won MVP twice and most improved once. His college career isn’t any different; he has earned numerous of awards and won contests. He had the honor to play out of high-school but couldn’t because of new NBA rule. Gregory is ready for the NBA and he’ll bring his aptitude and experience.
